Be Inspired this Summer with Tower Bridge's 'Ask the Techie'
Looking for things to do this summer? Why not visit Tower Bridge Exhibition and find out what goes on behind the scenes of this 120 year old Bridge with ever-popular ‘Ask the Techie’ programme.
Our technical experts will once again be on hand in the Engine Rooms to answer your questions about this marvel of Victorian engineering – and all included in the Exhibition admission price! ‘Ask the Techie’ is only available on certain dates during the school summer holidays so make sure you plan your visit by checking the Ask the Techie schedule.
It is not available for pre-booking and is included in the Exhibition admission price, which also includes Tower Bridge's current exhibitions: 'The Sixties' and 'Great Bridges of the World'. Don’t forget to look out for ‘Design a Bridge’ competition winner, Toby Ayres’ creative ‘The Great British Fish & Chips Bridge’ in all its 3D glory!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Our Techies are the ones who keep the Bridge in working order and they must be available to raise the bridge for river vessels, which are required to provide us with only 24hrs notice. As a result, ‘Ask the Techie’ times are subject to change. In the same way, should urgent operational issues arise; ‘Ask the Techie’ may not be provided.
