Saturday 19 September: Family activities at Tower Bridge Exhibition
Our ever-popular monthly family activities continue this Saturday 19 September when we will be using maths and science to discover more about how the bridge works and also how heavy it is.
Visitors will have the opportunity to build their own section of the bridge to take home and experiment to see how forces are used to make the bridge work. We’ll also be using maths to calculate how many visitors we would need to weigh the same as the bridge. If you want to know the answer, come along and find out!
The activities will be available between 10:30 and 16:00 up on the walkways and are aimed at children aged 6 – 10, although children of all ages are invited to take part.
Activities are included in the general admission and are not available for pre-booking.
