Saturday 28th November: drama and theatrical sketches in Tower Bridge's Engine Rooms
Join our science theatre troupe in the atmospheric Engine Rooms from 10:30am until 4pm on Saturday 28th November to discover the scientific secrets behind Tower Bridge.
Through a day of drama and interactive theatrics, you'll be transported back in time to Tower Bridge's opening day, where there seems to be a slight problem with one of the engines...!
Experience all 4 immersive sketches and scientific demonstrations as you progress through the Victorian Engine Rooms to learn all about how these impressive steam engines functioned to raise the mighty bascules for passing ships.
Performances will be taking place throughout the day with breaks to accommodate tours and group visits. Each of the 4 sketches lasts 5 minutes.
Activities are included in the general admission and are not available for pre-booking.
