Take the Glass Floor Challenge!
Saturday 5th December: Glass Floor Challenge at Tower Bridge Exhibition
Visitors wishing to conquer their fear of heights are invited to take the Glass Floor Challenge at Tower Bridge! Our high-level Walkways have become a magnet for thrill-seekers but many could are missing out on the spectacular panoramic views on offer.
Luckily, Gestalt Psychotherapist, Professor Emilyn Claid will be on hand in the Exhibition on Saturday 5th December to help visitors learn techniques to manage body based sensations that arise, helping them to ensure that fear does not take over.
From breathing exercises to grounding and centring techniques, participants will learn how to use the floor as an ally rather than a foe until they feel confident enough to take their first steps on the glass floor. Those able to conquer their fear and walk on the glass floor will be rewarded with a huge sense of achievement as well as an “I did it!” sticker!
Professor Emilyn Claid will be on hand between 2:30pm-4:30pm.
Activities are included in the general admission. Sessions with Professor Emilyn Claid are free to attend to those that purchase general admission tickets but spaces are limited. To guarantee a place in the mindfulness sessions email firstname.lastname@example.org.
