Festive Events at Tower Bridge
Join us this December for carol concerts, family activities and more!
On Saturday 17th December we'll have fun learning about how bells were involved in the lifting of the bascules.
Throughout the day, you and the family will be able to make and take home your own hand-crafted decorative bell to hang on your Christmas tree and watch our storyteller Diana perform a brand new tale about the perils of being a Tower Bridge ‘Watchman’.
Storytelling will take place at the following times:
Budding musicians will also get the chance to make some noise with Sam, our resident handbell ringer and learn how to play traditional Christmas carols from the time that Tower Bridge was constructed.
Activities are open to children of all ages but are particularly appropriate for those aged six ten.
For more festive fun, visit the Bridge on Wednesday 21st December when 25 pupils from a local secondary school will perform a selection of Christmas carols. Pupils from Ark Globe Academy's official choir will be singing between 12:30 and 13:30 so make sure to plan your visit in advance to soak up the atmosphere.
All events and activities are free and including in the cost of admission.
Book your tickets now to avoid disappointment.
