Tower Bridge Shop Wins Museums + Heritage Award
We are excited to announce that the Tower Bridge shop has won the Museums + Heritage Award for ‘Best Shop with a turnover more than £500k’, beating The Hepworth Wakefield Shop, Yorkshire Sculpture Park and British Library in a highly competitive category.
Chris Earlie, Head of Tower Bridge, said, “We are delighted to have been recognised with this prestigious award, which is testament not only to the Bridge’s ever-improving retail offer, product lines, presentation and customer service but also to the substantial project which saw the shop facility completely overhauled and doubled in size in late 2016.”
The Tower Bridge shop is located at the south end of the Bridge in the Engine Rooms and is stocked with a range of home-ware, sweets, books and souvenirs, including collections from Soapsmith, Alice Tait and Emmeline Simpson. It’s open 7 days a week from 10am to 17.30pm. Alternatively, items can also be purchased online at shop.towerbridge.org.uk.
