Tower Bridge awarded Visit England Gold Accolade again
For the second year running, Visit England, the national tourism agency, has awarded Tower Bridge with the coveted Gold Accolade.
Awarded as part of the Visitor Attraction Quality Scheme, Visit England accolades recognise attractions where the visitor experience is of the highest quality. There are 5 categories: Welcome, Hidden Gem, Best Told Story, Quality Food and Drink and the Gold Accolade, awarded for the highest scoring all-round experience.
The Visitor Attractions Quality Scheme has over 1000 registered attractions and is highly regarded as a mark of quality throughout the tourism industry. Of the 1,000+ UK attractions participating in the assessment scheme, only 16 Gold Accolades were awarded this year, with only two being awarded in the whole of Greater London.
