Walking Tours - Exploring London’s Heart

Discover the Pool of London with a 125th anniversary walking tour.

For centuries the Pool of London was the heart of London's trade. Join us in exploring its architecture, history, art and legends as we celebrate 125 years of Tower Bridge as the gateway to the heart of London.

Starting outside Tower Bridge's Victorian Engine Rooms on the south bank of the river, you will be led around the Upper Pool of London by one of our Tower Bridge accredited guides. Learn facts and anecdotes about London's heart and discover historic sites such as Hay's Galleria, London Bridge, Customs House and the Tower of London, finishing at the northern end of Tower Bridge.

Selected tours will have British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation and are open for all to attend. If you have mobility requirements, please advise your tour guide at the start so the tour can be adapted accordingly.

Cost: £5
When: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout June. Tours start at 10:00, 13:00 and 15:00.
BSL interpreted tours: 13:00 on Saturday 1 June, Saturday 8 June and Saturday 29 June.
Duration: 90 Minutes
Distance: Approx. 1.6 Miles (2.6km)

These tours ran in June 2019 as part of Tower Bridge's 125th anniversary celebration.
