About
Pupils will discover why, how and by whom Tower Bridge was built, and learn how the Victorian engines used to open the Bridge.
Tower Bridge will also be used as a resource to embed other aspects of the Key Stage 1 curriculum as appropriate such as the use of tally charts to complete a traffic survey from the Glass Floor and considering different materials and their properties in the Engine Rooms.
Our fantastic Learning Team are skilled in encouraging active engagement of all pupils, through enquiry-led approaches to questioning and the use of high-quality props and learning aids.
Tours are supported with worksheets and hands on activities to help bring the Bridge to life.
