Family Activities

Our family activities are free with entry and are available throughout the day. Drop in and join in on the fun!

They are open to children of all ages, but are particularly appropriate for those aged six to ten.

Did you know that around 800 ships pass underneath Tower Bridge's famous bascules every year? Cap off your visit to London’s defining landmark by making a sailor's hat at our family drop-in sessions – yours to take home and keep.

 

Family activities are free with admission and are available between 10:00 and 16:00. Open to children of all ages but particularly appropriate for those aged six to ten. Please note, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

All participating families will receive a Family Activities Pass, entitling you to free entry on any Family Activities Day in the next six months.

Victorian Peg Dolls

 

When: October Half Term: Tuesday 28 October 2025

 

Time: 10:00 – 16:00

 

Where: Tower Bridge Learning Space

 

Homemade peg dolls were popular children’s toys when Tower Bridge was built in Queen Victoria’s time. Recreate some characters from Tower Bridge’s history by upcycling wooden washing pegs and decorating them with fabric and pens at our next family drop-in session. Take your doll home as a souvenir of your visit.
