Tower Bridge is open to visitors.

We are looking forward to welcoming you. We recommend pre-booking your ticket online to guarantee a visit time. Our capacity will be monitored to ensure we provide a safe environment for our visitors and staff.

Important: To ensure staff and visitor safety, if you start to display any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19, we will amend your booking for another day. We ask that you refrain from visiting and contact us at bookings@towerbridge.org.uk to change your visit date.

Opening Hours

Tower Bridge is open 09:30 - 18:00*
(last entry is 17:00)

*Tower Bridge is closed 24 - 26 December. On 1 January, Tower Bridge opens at 10am. On the third Saturday every month, between 10:30 and 11:30, entry to Tower Bridge is reserved for Relaxed Opening attendees.

1. Your visit begins by climbing the North Tower
2. Then head along East Walkway and West Walkway, crossing the iconic Glass Floor.
3. Descend down the South Tower to road level
4. Then follow the blue line commemorating the workers of Tower Bridge.
5. Finally, enter the Victorian Engine Rooms and complete your visit in our gift shop.

Checklist for your visit

✔ Pre-book your ticket online and have your e-Ticket or paper ticket ready for inspection
✔ Be aware that only small bags are permitted and all bags are subject to search - see our bag policy
✔ Wear comfortable shoes for walking up the Tower (lifts will be available for those who require them)
✔ Our queues are outside so check the weather!
✔ Plan your visit journey to arrive at your booked entry time  
✔ Allow time for extra queuing at entry and at the toilets 
✔ Say hello to our team who are happy to tell you stories about the Bridge.
