London's only major dog-friendly attraction

London's only major dog-friendly attraction

Tower Bridge is proud to welcome well-behaved dogs (and their owners!) to explore the historic Towers, spectacular Glass Floor and Victorian Engine Rooms.

We understand that dogs are part of the family so why not bring them along on your day out exploring London?  All we ask is that dogs are kept on a lead and supervised at all times during their visit.

The Dogvine

You and your canine partner will climb the iconic Towers and discover the stories of the people behind Tower Bridge, from the architects and coal stokers to the women working on-site.

Sit, lie and pose on the iconic Glass Floors in the Walkways and look down at spectacular views of your city from above the Thames.

Then, discover the original Victorian Engine Rooms and see for yourself the massive coal-burning boilers and accumulators that once powered Tower Bridge.

What our visitors say

I was thrilled to be able to visit the iconic Tower Bridge with my dog Belinha – it’s such a unique experience being London’s only dog-friendly indoor attraction. All the staff made a big fuss of Belinha which made it even more enjoyable.

I was incredibly thrilled when I discovered that Tower Bridge was dog-friendly. We absolutely loved visiting with our rescue mutt Argo. He had the best time, spoiled by the staff and braver than us on the Glass Floor!

A few simple rules

Whilst inside Tower Bridge, all dogs must:

  • Be on a lead, held by their owners throughout the visit
  • Be accompanied by a responsible adult
  • Not jump onto or sit on the furniture e.g. benches in the walkways
  • Not put their paws up to get a better look at the amazing views
  • Take the stairs if their owners can (assistance dogs can always use the lift)

We're good to go

Tower Bridge has followed Government and industry Covid-19 guidelines and have processes in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing. This includes:

  • Timed ticketing to manage visitor capacity
  • A one-way visitor experience
  • Only accepting card and contactless payments
  • Increased cleaning throughout the Bridge
  • and more...
