In this workshop, pupils will discover the different types of bridge which make up Tower Bridge and their strengths and weaknesses.
They will then conduct a practical bridge building experiment, constructing different types of paper bridge to test which shapes are strongest.
Finally, they will review their results and their relevance to the engineering of Tower Bridge.
Resources
Please note that schools will be required to provide the resources needed to complete the bridge experiment. Additional purchases are unlikely to be needed and suitable resources will be discussed during the booking process.
Feedback
Just a message to say thank you so much for the Bridge Builders workshop yesterday. It was really informative and engaging. We all really enjoyed it and it absolutely supported the children's learning.
