About this workshop
Victorian London was a city bustling with trade from all over the world. Explore stories of the Victorian docks through costume, objects and multi-sensory based activities. Pupils will discover the relationship between the Thames, Tower Bridge and the evolution of this area in Victorian London.
We design our SEND workshops in collaboration with teachers and students to create a visit everyone will enjoy and benefit from the most, choosing the stories, spaces and stimuli that will best engage all learners.
Our educators work together with you to ensure every student is able to participate, on their terms. Our educators are also trained in the use of Makaton.
Cost of session includes an optional facilitated or self-guided tour of Tower Bridge for your group.
School Visits Fund
The School Visits Fund may be able to support your visit to Tower Bridge. If your school is in Greater London and meets the criteria, you may be eligible for a grant. State-maintained schools with a pupil premium rate of 35% or more, SEND schools, Pupil Referral Units and youth organisations can all apply.
This fund provides grants of up to £300 towards the cost of admission, transport and teacher cover.
