The Victorian Thames Workshop

This is an on-site workshop delivered by our experienced Learning Team.

Why was Tower Bridge built, and what was life like on the London docks of 1894? Turn your students into history detectives and find out!

Students will explore the sights and smells of London's docks through historical sources, developing enquiry and analytical skills to uncover the relationship between the Thames, international trade, and Tower Bridge.
