Family Activities

Our family activities are free with entry and are available throughout the day. Drop in and join in on the fun!

They are open to children of all ages, but are particularly appropriate for those aged six to ten.

Next session: Victorian peg dolls

Where: Tower Bridge Learning Space

 

Homemade peg dolls were popular children’s toys when Tower Bridge was built in Queen Victoria’s time. Recreate some characters from Tower Bridge’s history by upcycling wooden washing pegs and decorating them with fabric and pens at our next family drop-in session. Take your doll home as a souvenir of your visit.

Family activities are free with admission and are available between 10:00 and 16:00. They are open to children of all ages but particularly appropriate for those aged six to ten.

All participating families will receive a Family Activities Pass, entitling you to free entry on any Family Activities Day in the next six months.

Find out how the ‘Guardian Angel’ parachute was tested at Tower Bridge in 1917 then make your own mini parachute to take home and keep.

Family activities are drop-in sessions so no need to book. They are free with the price of an entrance ticket. Please note, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
