The Victorian Thames - KS2

Looking at the unique set of circumstances necessitating Tower Bridges construction, students will gain an understanding of the Victorian docks of 1894. Working in groups they will discover a range of historical sources, developing enquiry and analysis skills to uncover the interdependent relationship between the Thames, international trade, and the evolution of the Pool of London.
